Spring Air Foundation
Spring Air manufactures their foundation using an all wooden frame design. This allows for even distribution and absorbs the weight of the mattress evenly. It is also reinforced in the middle of the foundation for extra support. Solid support, no flex like a regular box spring and ideal for all foam mattresses. Depending on the bed frame you have, you may require a foundation.
Key Features:
- Available in 2", 4" and 9" heights
- Made in BC
- 10 year warranty
- Spacing between wooden slats: 3.5"
- 2" heigh great as a bunky board or for slatted frames that need additional support
This foundation is available in 3 different heights. A 2" foundation can be used for any type of bed frame that requires some additional support like a bunk bed or a platform bed. The 4.5" foundation is also considered a low profile boxspring. This is ideal for bed frames that require a boxspring but you may have an overly thick mattress and don't want it to be too high off the ground. The 9" or standard foundation is what you will normally see.
Restwell has partnered with Ministry of Forest and Range to develop a tree program to plant more trees than used. By replanting in BC they are contributing to the rejuvenation of this forest, and restoring the homes of Canadian Wildlife.

You can take a look at our Blog to learn more about latex and memory foam. In summary, natural latex is made from the sap of rubber trees, whereas memory foam was invented by NASA’s space program. Both materials are known for contouring your body, therefore providing excellent support, comfort, and motion isolation. Latex tends to sleep cooler than memory foam due to its breathability.
We recommend replacing your mattress every 5 to 7 years. Depending on the material, pillows should be replaced between every 6 months for polyester to every 2 to 3 years for more durable materials such as latex and memory foam. After all, you spend ⅓ of your life in your bed, so you need to be sure you’re getting the best sleep possible.
